Rehabilitation of the Poça do Monte Irrigation System

The project “Rehabilitation of the Poças do Monte Traditional Irrigation System” covers the upgrading of the entire channel, main and secondary, of the Poças do Monte Traditional Irrigation System. The works will therefore address the drainage system and all the complementary works and services needed to carry it out effectively and efficiently. Given the current state of the system, the project aims to reduce water losses along the whole channel, allow more efficient water management through innovative technology such as volumetric water control, and give every beneficiary access to this resource.
