APlikAr
About the Project
The 'APlikAr' project sets out to support the sound application, monitoring and evaluation of rural development policy measures as they apply to the kiwifruit sector, to encourage participation and joint working across the sector and, above all, to transfer good practice and new technical knowledge so as to raise the standard of what the sector's operators do and, with it, the quality of production.
From the fast-moving digital world we live in to climate change and market power, and given the needs of the farming sector, it is important to invest in actions with a strong impact on production by making the best practices widely known. The project therefore consists of a set of information activities covering a range of themes, delivered as short or medium-length in-person sessions, including field visits and conference formats.
