About the Project

Ruris developed the Local Development Strategy with a renewed ambition to add value to the Ribatejo Interior region, giving it a distinctive identity as a benchmark place to live, work, visit and invest.

The actions carried out by Ruris were:

Definition of the macro strategy:
- Technical visits across the region;
- A questionnaire survey of a representative sample of project promoters under DLBC Rural 2020, to identify areas for improvement and priorities in building the 2023-2027 LDS;
- Preparation of a strategic assessment analysing the evolution and dynamics of Ribatejo Interior;
- Alignment of the 2023-2027 LDS with European, national and regional public policy strategies and priorities;
- Facilitation of participatory/collective discussion sessions;
- Preparation of the Macro Strategy document for the TAGUS | Ribatejo Interior LDS (2023-2027);
- A public session presenting the Macro Strategy for the TAGUS | Ribatejo Interior LDS (2023-2027);
- Preparation of the elements required and submission of the application under the DLBC pre-qualification call.
Preparation of the implementation plan:
- Definition of the 2023-2027 LDS Implementation Plan;
- Preparation of the descriptive report and of the elements required for submitting the application under the second phase of the DLBC recognition call.
