DOURO: Olive Oil Experiences

This project sets out to position the Douro as a sustainable, well-developed tourism destination and a driver of the local economy, building on the strategic and distinctive tourism assets — natural, cultural, historical and gastronomic heritage — that have drawn growing interest from Portuguese and international visitors. Working closely with local tourism operators, the aim is to structure a set of distinctive experiences centred on Douro olive oil, for anyone wanting to discover the region in a more authentic and in-depth way.
