Active Economy in Douro Verde

Economia Ativa no Douro Verde came about from the need to proactively support the people who live and work, or want to live and work, in the Douro Verde area (a low-density area), with the aim of creating a climate favourable to the emergence of new businesses in traditional sectors such as crop production, livestock and forestry, as well as in trade, industry and services.

This gave rise to a web platform which, more than a simple website, is a tool bringing together economic information on the Douro Verde area, aimed at entrepreneurs, business owners and investors.

Through its Members' Area, entrepreneurs receiving support under the "Economia Ativa" project can access a range of features and stay in direct contact with the coordinators, mentors and specialists involved.
