Gastronomic Trail
About the Project
The "Be Natural" project aimed to create a Gastronomic Route and to certify restaurants, so as to encourage the use of local products (smoked meats, potatoes and cabbage) in the dishes and menus offered by local restaurants. The project also provided for external promotion activities in the markets of the Portuguese diaspora.
The actions carried out were:
- Creation of the rules governing the Montalegre Gastronomic Route and the certification of participating restaurants;
- Delivery of capacity-building activities for participating restaurants;
- Technical visits to support the implementation of the process for subsequent certification;
- Support in designing the ecomuseu.org website;
- Support in designing an app;
- Collection of photography and other materials to publicise the route;
- Promotion and publicising of the route.
