Melo – Literary Village

“Melo – Literary Village” is a cultural and tourism development project built on the literary heritage of Vergílio Ferreira. It creates an integrated offer linking the Literary Route — urban and rural — with the Casa Para Sempre – Vergílio Ferreira, cultural activities, artist residencies and digital interpretation tools. The initiative sets out to strengthen local identity, stimulate the local economy and give visitors an authentic encounter with the literature, the landscape and the memory of Melo, contributing to a sustainable and participatory model of development.
