Valença agricultural development plan

Ruris designed the "Valença Agricultural Development Plan", which forms part of the Municipality of Valença's strategy. Its purpose was to promote local resources and potential through the development of plans, studies and programmes aimed at creating wealth in the local economy.

Ruris contributed to this main objective by defining a short- and medium-term action plan to support farming, local produce and the producers of the municipality of Valença, fostering the conditions for the development of rural and agricultural activities that drive economic development and the sustainable growth of the area.

The actions carried out by Ruris were:

• Assessment of the area;
• Definition of objectives and strategic priorities;
• Preparation of an action plan for the municipality of Valença;
• Preparation of the final report on the services provided.
