Vila Verde: the Nature of Simple Things

Ruris supported the development of this project, which involved the design, co-creation and prototyping of an innovative tourism experience built on the flagship tourism resources of the municipality of Vila Verde.

This gave rise to the "Fojo do Lobo Trail and Vade Spring PR2" experience, a new Vila Verde tourism experience that challenges visitors to discover the nature of simple things. Every step counts along the roughly 13 kilometres of this circular route, which features 10 particularly noteworthy points. For a one- or two-day stay, the offer also brings in other cultural, historical and gastronomic highlights of the municipality.

The main actions carried out by Ruris on this project were:

• Assessment of the main tourism attractions, with consultation of the region's tourism players;
• Structuring of the "Trilhos da Nóbrega" tourism experience and a pre-test;
• Organisation of an activation, testing and trial event.
