About the Project
The Aldeias New Generation project was created to make the most of the tourism, residential and productive potential of villages at risk of ageing and population loss, by setting out strategies for their revitalisation — strategies aligned with the European Union's Smart Villages concept: villages of the future that are more aware, more sustainable, more technological and more efficient.
