Culture in the Dão

The Culture in the Dão project brought together two strands: Culture in the Dão, and Promotion and Outreach.

Under the Culture in the Dão strand, 67 initiatives were delivered with the aim of creating and running a joint cultural programme across the municipalities of Mangualde, Nelas and Penalva do Castelo, staging touring performances in all three. The performances were led by local and regional cultural associations, artists and arts projects, adding value to the artistic and cultural work being done in the territory and raising the visibility and profile of local and regional groups.
