The Tagus Vintage train is running again

The Tagus Vintage Train is running again in November, with a stop in the Municipality of Castelo Branco.

As part of its work on activating tourism destinations, RURIS developed an activation event with the Municipality of Castelo Branco, in partnership with Comboios de Portugal (CP).

Two journeys will run on 19 and 26 November. The departure point is Santa Apolónia station in Lisbon at 09:00, arriving in Castelo Branco at 12:00 after passing the imposing landscape of the Portas de Ródão Natural Monument. Following a welcome at Castelo Branco station by the Philharmonic Band, a tourism programme takes in some of the territory's most central attractions, such as its varied network of museum spaces and the Bishop's Palace Garden. During the day, visitors will also have the chance to taste some of the most typical dishes of Castelo Branco.

The return to Lisbon is scheduled for 16:00.
