Social Housing in the Centro Region - Priority 4H

Objective

The Priority 4H – Social Housing measure, funded by the ERDF under the CENTRO 2030 Regional Programme, is designed to support strategic investment in expanding, modernising and upgrading the public housing stock in the Centro Region. In direct coordination with the Local Housing Strategies (ELH) approved by the municipalities, the intervention funds the construction of new dwellings, the deep renovation of existing buildings and the acquisition of buildings for social conversion, with a priority focus on energy performance and environmental sustainability.

Its central objective is to tackle situations of housing deprivation, eradicate energy poverty and ensure equitable access to decent, affordable housing for the most vulnerable families and groups in the Centro Region.
