Social Housing in the Centro Region - Priority 5H

Objective

The Priority 5H – Social Housing measure, part of the Territorial Instruments (IT) of the CENTRO 2030 Regional Programme and funded by the ERDF, is designed to support public investment in strengthening, rehabilitating and expanding the stock of social housing in the Centro Region.

Aligned with the Local Housing Strategies (ELH) and contracted under the integrated territorial approaches of the Inter-municipal Communities (ITI CIM), the measure funds the construction of new dwellings, the deep renovation of the existing housing stock and the acquisition of properties for social conversion, under demanding energy-efficiency criteria. Its central objective is to eradicate housing deprivation, strengthen social and territorial cohesion, combat energy poverty and ensure decent, affordable housing for the most vulnerable populations of the Centro Region.

Municipalities, Inter-municipal Communities and inter-municipal and municipal public-sector companies belonging to the NUTS III regions
