SIAC - Internationalisation

Objective

The SIAC – Internationalisation instrument, framed within the SME Growth and Competitiveness priority (Specific Objective RSO1.3 / Portugal 2030), is designed to fund structured collective interventions aimed at accelerating the capacity-building, international profile and export capability of small and medium-sized enterprises. Through support for business associations, promotion agencies and ecosystem partners, the incentive co-funds integrated actions of market prospecting, trade missions, competitive intelligence studies and the promotion of the national and regional offer at international trade events.

The objective is to build SMEs' capacity collectively, diversify export destinations, promote higher-value-added products and strengthen companies' competitive position in global markets.

Eligible beneficiaries

Business associations, chambers of commerce and industry and tourism promotion agencies; ENESII — non-business entities of the research and innovation system; public agencies and bodies, including inter-municipal bodies and associative entities, with competences in the field covered by the call; private non-profit entities pursuing public-interest objectives that have established partnerships with the entities above to deliver business-related public policies; other public bodies and other non-profit entities taking part in co-promoted projects with one of the entities referred to above, where justified by the nature of the operation
