Sub-regional and local tourism products (IT)

Objective

The Sub-regional and Local Tourism Products measure, framed within the Territorial Instruments (IT) of Portugal 2030 and funded by the ERDF, aims to support the structuring, capacity-building and promotion of integrated tourism networks and products at sub-regional and local level. Aligned with the Sustainable Territorial Development Strategies, the intervention funds the creation of themed routes (cultural, nature and gastronomic), the digitisation of tourist information and interpretation, smart signposting of routes and the promotion of tangible and intangible heritage.

Its strategic objective is to diversify the tourism offer, mitigate seasonality, increase the territory's attractiveness and visitors' length of stay, and leverage sustainable economic development in lower-density territories.

Eligible beneficiaries

Beneficiaries listed in article 123 of Section XIII of the Specific Regulation for the Thematic Area 'Territorial Enhancement and Social Infrastructure', provided their operations are included in the Priority Investment Framework (QIP) of the ITI CIM/AM Action Plans
