The Amarante Business Association is organising a study visit for Baixo Tâmega agri-food producers to four vegetable and fruit farms in the region. The farm visits will be complemented by accounts from business owners in the region.
VISIT SCHEDULE:
08:00 – Meeting point: Amarante Sports Complex.
08:20 – Farm 1 – Hortieno, Helder Teixeira – Vegetables – Amarante.
10:00 – Farm 2 – Quinta da Tapada, Nuno Moura – Mushrooms – Amarante.
11:30 – Farm 3 – Ovelha Azul, Alexandra Ribeiro – Marco de Canaveses.
13:15 – Lunch – Espaço Maria Emília – Marco de Canaveses.
15:45 – Farm 4 – L&D Kiwiberry, Luis Sousa – Hardy kiwi – Baião.

Lunch at Maria Emília's costs €10.00 per participant and will take the form of a walking lunch.
