Social Housing in the Alentejo Litoral Region - Priority 6H (JTF)

Objective

The 6H – Social Housing measure, framed within the Territorial Just Transition Plan for Alentejo Litoral, aims to support the delivery of the Local Housing Strategies (ELH) in the municipalities affected by the region's energy transition.

Funded by the Just Transition Fund (JTF), this priority supports public investment in the construction, rehabilitation and acquisition of residential buildings to strengthen the social housing stock.

Its central objective is to ensure access to decent, energy-efficient and affordable housing for households experiencing deprivation or social vulnerability, promoting territorial cohesion, population retention and the fight against energy poverty in Alentejo Litoral.

Eligible beneficiaries

Municipalities, non-profits or social-sector organisations in partnership with municipalities, belonging to the Alentejo Litoral region.
