Social Housing in the Alentejo Region - Priority 5H

Objective

The measure under Priority 5H – Affordable Housing, within the Alentejo 2030 Regional Programme and funded by the ERDF, aims to support strategic investment in creating and modernising the public social housing stock in the Alentejo region.

In strict alignment with the validated Local Housing Strategies (ELH), the measure funds the construction of new housing solutions, as well as the rehabilitation of existing buildings with a focus on energy performance and environmental sustainability.

Its central objective is to mitigate housing deprivation, combat socio-economic asymmetries and guarantee universal, equitable access to decent, affordable housing for the most vulnerable households.

Municipalities, non-profits or social-sector organisations in partnership with municipalities, belonging to the NUTS III regions
