Maria Emília Teixeira learned to bake broa when she was still very young and has extensive experience in making home-made maize bread. It was as an adult that the product became the family business. Maria Emília Teixeira will demonstrate how the product is made while sharing her experience and know-how.
Ricardo Ribeiro took on the Confeitaria da Ponte project as a native of Amarante who loves his city, and since 2010 he has devoted himself exclusively to running the business. He will share the know-how acquired in the confectionery sector, as well as his commitment to a project that has been extremely rewarding in his professional life.
